o Airport, Male’ and Hulhumale’ guest and staff drop off/return trips
o Advanced manoeuvring – further training and non-normal procedures
o Engineering and Maintenance – assisting engineers with all components of the operation
o Development – Continue developing your qualifications and sea time for promotion
o Safety – All aspects of vessel safety onboard, and other vessels is followed. The safe operation of their vessel observing both company and legal guidelines.
o Health and safety of the crew and passengers.
o Investigation of any damage to the vessel, personal injuries of crew and the environmental effects of the vessel (eg. Monitoring any pollution and checking for oil spills around the vessel and at ports and harbors);
o Maintenance of all on-board equipment, including machinery, engines and safety equipment with regular inspection.
o Monitoring of daily parameters of the vessel, observing speed, engine pressure and water depths.
o Being punctual, knowledgeable of the route, courteous with the crew and passengers.
o Follow the resort inhouse rules and regulations.
o Additional tasks assigned by superior that are job related
