BOATYARD ELECTRICIAN

Job Overview:
- The company is seeking a Boatyard Electrician, preferably a Sri Lankan, to work in N. Manadhoo.
- The role involves electrical installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Salary is negotiable and will be paid in MVR.

Key Responsibilities:
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical items (grinder, compressor, drill etc)
- Experience with AC and DC electrical systems and single and three phase wiring.
- Troubleshooting and fault-finding of electrical equipment, vehicles, and diesel engines.
- Servicing of company vehicles (oil and filter changing, washing etc)
- Knowledge of marine lighting, navigation systems, pumps, and control circuits is an added advantage.
- Use of electrical testing equipment such as multimeters, insulation testers, and clamp meters.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Electrical trade certification or equivalent qualification.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar field.
- Should have the required qualifications and licenses.
- Experience with vessel commissioning and refit projects is an advantage.
