Qualifications:
• Chief Engineer: Certificate of Competency issued in accordance with Section A-III/2 or Section A-III/3 of the STCW 95 Convention as amended in STCW 2010.
• Oil Tanker Familiarization Certificate & Endorsement (Advanced).
• STCW basic certifications.
Role & Responsibility:
• Responsible for the technical operations and maintenance of the vessel and will be acting as the head of the engine department of the vessel. Chief Engineer will further supervise and guide all the engine department staff in executing their responsibilities, while coordinate with shore Engineers and operations department in technical matters of the vessel, to ensure a smooth operation.
Experience:
• A minimum of 1-2 years of work experience in the position.
Salary: MVR 25,000.00
