1. JOB SUMMARY:

As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible to complete construction projects by preparing engineering design and documents; confirming specifications.

2. QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management or Civil Engineering
• 05+ years of experience in similar role, involving hands-on project delivery
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

3. WORKING HOURS:

• 8hrs a day / 6 day a week

4. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the coordination and overall integration of technical activities in construction and renovation projects.
• Consult or negotiate with clients to clarify project specifications.
• Confer with management and staff to discuss project specifications or procedures.
• Direct, review and communicate project design or project scope changes to the management and clients.
• Present and explain proposals, schedules, reports or findings to the management and clients.
• Confer with supervisory personnel, clients, contractors or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems.
• Plan, schedule and coordinate project activities to meet deadlines.
• Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports and cost tracking reports.
• Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, environmental regulations or other relevant regulations imposed by the authorities.
• Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Plan, organize, or direct activities concerned with the construction or maintenance of structures and facilities.
• Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.
• Investigate damage, accidents or delays at construction sites to ensure that proper construction procedures are being followed.
• Prepare contracts or negotiate revisions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers or subcontractors.
• Develop and implement quality control programs/mechanisms.
• Implement new or modified plans in response to delays, bad weather or construction site emergencies.
• Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to representatives of the client and the company management, including supervisors, workers and administrative staff.
• Perform or contract others to perform pre-building assessments, such as conceptual cost estimating, BOQ, feasibility studies, energy efficiency, environmental, and sustainability assessments.
• Apply for and obtain all necessary permits or licenses.
• Evaluate construction methods and determine cost-effectiveness of plans.
• Direct and supervise construction or related workers.
• Determine labor requirements for dispatching workers to sites.
• Requisition supplies or materials to complete projects.
