Job Title: Financial Controller

Skylane Holdings is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and improving our financial processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage the company's budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and develop a high-performing finance team, providing leadership, coaching, and mentoring.
- Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with other subsidiaries to support overall business objectives, providing financial insights and recommendations.
- Oversee tax planning and compliance, working with external auditors and tax advisors as needed.
- Prepare financial reports for senior management, the board of directors, and external stakeholders.
- Lead the implementation of financial software and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong knowledge regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
