Job Overview:
- TTS Group is seeking a Finance Executive to manage financial operations and ensure compliance with regulations. The position is located in the Maldives. There is one opening. Salary: Not stated.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly financial statements and ensure timely bank reconciliations and profit and loss finalization.
- Verify revenue and cost accuracy for jobs, post journal entries, and report job losses to management.
- Perform reconciliations for commissions, receivables, and payables.
- Prepare, reconcile, and report Principal & Agency statements of accounts, resolve discrepancies, and maintain financial records.
- Manage tax compliance including GST and BPT calculations, submissions, and payments.
- Facilitate audits by coordinating with auditors and providing necessary documentation.
- Forecast and plan payments to principals and vendors.
- Guide and monitor cashiering functions and ensure policy adherence.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A Diploma or Degree in Finance or Accounting, AAT Intermediate, partially completed CA or ACA, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in the Accounting or Finance field.
- Experience in the shipping and logistics industry is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of Maldives tax laws and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in computer applications and financial systems.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
