Finance Manager

LITUS Group is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead and oversee the company’s finance and accounting operations. The successful candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain strong financial controls, manage cash flow, and support strategic decision-making across multiple group entities.

Key Responsibilities
🔹Financial Accounting & Reporting
🔹Oversee daily accounting operations including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank transactions, and fixed assets.
🔹Prepare monthly financial reports, management accounts, and performance summaries.
🔹Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
🔹Maintain accurate chart of accounts and reporting structures for multi-entity reporting.

Budgeting & Financial Analysis
🔹Lead annual budgeting and forecasting in coordination with department heads.
🔹Analyze budget vs actual performance and provide actionable financial insights.
🔹Support management with profitability analysis, cost control, and pricing strategies.

Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
🔹Manage daily cash position, banking activities, and cash flow forecasting.
🔹Monitor receivables and payables to optimize working capital.
🔹Coordinate with operational teams to improve collections and reduce overdue balances.

Compliance & Regulatory Reporting
🔹Ensure compliance with Maldives regulatory requirements including MIRA, GST, BPT, and withholding tax.
🔹Coordinate external and internal audits and address audit findings.
🔹Maintain proper documentation, approvals, and audit trails.

Process Improvement & Internal Controls
🔹Implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls across the group.
🔹Improve financial processes including procurement-to-pay and revenue recognition.
🔹Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency.

Team Leadership
🔹Lead and supervise finance team members including accountants and finance executives.
🔹Assign tasks, review outputs, and mentor team members.
🔹Ensure effective coordination across finance operations.

Requirements
🔹Professional qualification: CA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent.
🔹5–8+ years experience in accounting/finance with 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
🔹Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial controls.
🔹Experience working with ERP systems and financial modeling tools.
🔹Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
🔹Understanding of Maldivian regulatory and tax environment.
🔹Experience in trading, retail, automotive, construction, or multi-entity group companies will be an advantage.
🔹MBA in Accounting or Finance is preferred.

What We Offer
🔹Salary Range: MVR 22,000 – 25,000 (Locals)
🔹Salary Range: USD 1,000 - 1,300 (Expats)
