Information Security Officer

We are hiring for the position of INFORMATION SECURITY OFFICER at Maldives Premier Bank (MPB) in Male', Maldives. This full-time role is open to both Maldivian and International candidates.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Information Security Officer, who will provide independent oversight of information security risks while working closely with IT, business functions and external service providers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain the Bank’s information security framework, policies and standards.
• Identify, assess, monitor and report information security and cyber risks.
• Review and challenge security controls across systems, digital channels, cloud services and third-party providers.
• Oversee information security incident management, escalation and remediation.
• Coordinate security assessments, penetration testing and follow-up of findings.
• Support compliance with applicable Maldives Monetary Authority requirements and other relevant
obligations.
• Promote information security awareness across the Bank.
• Prepare risk reports for senior management and relevant committees

Candidate Profile:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology Risk or a related field.
• At least five years of relevant experience in information security, cybersecurity, technology risk or a related area.
• Practical experience in information security governance, risk assessment and security-control frameworks.
• Professional certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CRISC or ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor are highly desirable.
