Job Overview:
- Society for Health Education (SHE) is looking for a Laboratory Technologist to provide support for the Thalassemia laboratory and diagnostic services. The role includes routine analytical and administrative tasks of the laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine laboratory work for thalassemia screening including phlebotomy, complete hemogram, blood picture analysis and electrophoresis.
- Provide Genetic counselling to identified carriers and couples at risk.
- Data entry for Thalassemia and updating of laboratory statistics.
- Ensure that all laboratory supplies and equipment are utilized and stored appropriately.
- Routine maintenance of laboratory equipment and preparation of reagents in lab.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field (including hematology).
- Must have a Phlebotomy Certificate.
- Experience in a relevant field will be considered.
- Must be registered at Maldives Allied Health Council and licensed to work as a Laboratory Technologist.
- Must be a Maldivian.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Strong time management skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Possess fine analytical judgement and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Able to work as part of a team.
