PRIMARY HEALTHCARE WORKER

Job Overview:
- Society for Health Education (SHE) is looking for a Primary Healthcare Worker to provide Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) related services to clients.
- Work location is not stated. Openings: Not stated. Salary: MRF 9,230.00 – 11,470.00.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate SRH related activities in health trips & general health education activities.
- Provide counselling on family planning and SRH related issues.
- Regular follow up of clients on clinical duty.
- Participate in SRH Related activities for island visits and mobile family clinics.
- Identify and prepare write-ups on SRH issues for IEC Materials.
- Filing & maintaining applicable correspondence & records keeping.
- Ensure contraceptive stocks and equipment are sufficient and used correctly.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Primary Health care with minimum of 1 year experience in related field.
- Registered under Maldives Allied Health council.
- Work experience in Sexual Reproductive Health is an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel); typing in Dhivehi and English.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Capacity to listen and apply sound clinical knowledge relevant to the job.
- Ability to prioritize clinical needs and maintain quality.
- Maintain a professional relationship with patients and SRH team.
- Able to adapt and work with employees to improve patient care.
- Willing to work extended hours & travel when required.
- Display honesty and integrity, aware of confidentiality and ethical issues.
- Proven ability to work effectively in different clinical settings.
