Project Engineer / Quantity Surveyor

TA Construction and Trading Pvt Ltd is looking for a qualified and experienced Project Engineer / Quantity Surveyor to join our team.

Position: Project Engineer / Quantity Surveyor
Location: Maldives / Project Site
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: MVR 16,300
Allowances: Food and accommodation allowance provided

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily project activities at site.
Prepare, review, and verify project measurements and quantities.
Prepare BOQ, cost estimates, progress claims, variations, and payment applications.
Monitor project progress and ensure works are completed according to drawings, specifications, and timelines.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Check material requirements and assist in procurement planning.
Monitor project costs and assist management in cost control.
Ensure quality, safety, and compliance requirements are followed at site.
Verify subcontractor bills and completed work quantities.
Assist in preparation of as-built records and project documentation.
Carry out any other project-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
Experience in construction project execution and quantity surveying.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and BOQ.
Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project documentation.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Previous experience in Maldives construction projects will be an added advantage.
