Security Personnel - Senior Guard / Guard

Job Overview:
- U.S. Embassy in the Maldives is seeking eligible and qualified candidates for security positions in the Regional Security Office. Openings include 1 Senior Guard and 8 Guard positions. The monthly gross salary for the Senior Guard ranges from MVR 11,617 to MVR 17,426, and for the Guard, it ranges from MVR 9,976 to MVR 14,964.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct access control and visitor screening duties.
- Detect, deter, respond, and report potential criminal acts.
- Provide limited work guidance for Senior Guards.
- Maintain order and protect life and property.
- Work flexible shift schedules including nights, days, weekends, and/or holidays.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Completion of secondary education or equivalent (Senior Guard).
- Completion of primary school studies (Guard).
- Minimum of 1-year experience in military/police/security (Senior Guard); 2 years for Guard.
- Rudimentary English reading, writing, speaking; Dhivehi proficiency required.
- Knowledge of emergency response procedures and security equipment.
- Ability to operate emergency alarms and use security equipment.

Salary & Benefits:
- Monthly gross salary for Senior Guard: MVR 11,617 – MVR 17,426; for Guard: MVR 9,976 – MVR 14,964.
