Technician Trainee

Job Overview:
- We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Technician Trainee to join our team. The successful candidate will assist the technical team in conducting installations, commissioning, inspections, testing, and verification of fire protection systems. The salary range is MVR 8000/- to MVR 10,000/-.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation, commissioning, inspection and testing of fire protection systems.
- Learn requirements, standards, and procedures related to fire protection systems.
- Check installations against approved drawings, specifications, and requirements.
- Prepare inspection reports and required documents.
- Identify and report defects observed during inspections.
- Assist technicians during testing and commissioning.
- Learn to use inspection tools and equipment.
- Maintain accurate inspection records.
- Follow instructions from the Inspection Supervisor.
- Adhere to company policies and safety requirements.
- Care for company tools and equipment.
- Attend training sessions and participate in learning activities.
- Carry out any other lawful duties related to inspection.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum O-Level / Grade 10 or equivalent qualification.
- Must be 18 years of age or above.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or fire protection systems is an advantage.
- Technical or vocational training is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
- Physically fit and willing to work at different locations and sites.
- Previous experience in fire protection, electrical, mechanical, or technical work is an advantage but not required.
