Traviqa Private Limited is a new travel agency based in the Maldives, we started this company because we are passionate about travel & love providing excellent customer service. The reservations role requires a lot of knowledge & experience: working in the sales field of the Maldivian travel Industry. We are looking for a candidate who understands how the industry is changing & with the experience of selling a wide variety of properties found in the Maldive Islands to customers from all over the world. Whether it be Honeymoons at one of the many Luxury 05 Star resorts to Group Bookings of guests looking for an All Inclusive getaway.
Our Company currently focuses mainly on Business to Customer (B2C) sales. In this role you will be engaging & selling directly to customers who are shopping online for their next holiday. You will need to plan and prepare offers for the different seasons of travel whether it be finding offers for the Eid holidays season next year or curate offers for guests taking advantage of the better rates in the low season to snorkel with mantas or go surfing down the south of the Maldives.
You have to know your product i.e. accommodation at various resorts & you have to know the audience to whom you are pitching. Since certain packages work better for different types of clients & so on. You will have to prepare offers for customers, You will need to invoice payments to guests, while keeping track of payment due dates. It is definitely a high pressure job as mistakes would be very costly, you have to be meticulous about the details of a booking while also being fast to respond
It is challenging, goal oriented work, but always interesting and we are looking to hire someone long term, with the necessary travel agency experience who can adapt quickly into a managerial role. That said, We will hire more staff as an when needed, but if you have a background in reservations for multiple resorts your application will also be considered for the role currently available.
