Number of vacancies for this role:
We are looking to hire one candidate. We seek a detail-oriented and organised individual
interested in a reservations/sales role at Maldives.com.
The ideal candidate should have:
• A good work ethic, fluency in written and spoken English, and they should be detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills.
• Ideal candidates should have strong interpersonal skills, be able to follow instructions, work independently and work as a team.
• They should have a conscientious attitude towards customers, responding promptly and maintaining contact when required.
• Candidates should be able to work using a computer, prepare and send quotations and work without making mistakes.
• They should be self-motivated, professional, and productive during working hours, without distractions.
• One year of experience working in travel is required.
Summary of responsibilities:
• Communicate with new and existing clients.
• Prepare and send offers to clients.
• Work with the team on initiatives for the website, e.g. content updates.
• Keep up-to-date information, and learn more about properties on the job.
• Communicate with resorts and tour operators about deals and offers.
• Come to work on time, well-rested and ready for the day ahead.
• Learn more on the job and acquire new skills.
Salary & benefits
• Monthly salary ranging from 8,000 MVR to 10,000 MVR
• Earn 5% net profit per sale you are responsible for completing.
Working hours
• 5 Days a week on a shift basis
