We are looking to hire a “Content Writer / Editor” for the Travel website Maldives.com
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone who has previous experience working in as an online content writer / editor. They should be able to produce eloquent & engaging content about Travel & Tourism topics related to The Maldives.
• Ideal candidates should be self-motivated, creative & have a positive outlook.
• Good written English is a must, to be able to write, translate & edit copy into other languages is a plus!
• Maintain a steady workflow, meeting deadlines & routinely producing and editing content on our platform.
• Have adequate computer skills & be adept at using the MS Word, Excel & WordPress too.
• Learn new skills and make work to improve their craft.
• Must be confident and have good Interpersonal skill.
Summary of Responsibilities:
• Write &/or edit interesting / trending content which will be posted on our online travel platform.
• Manage online content and edit articles with updated content / information when necessary.
• Communicate with resorts, hotels, guesthouses etc about content they would like to post.
• Stay up to date on travel related news in Maldives and be prepared to travel when required.
• Arrive promptly at the office during working hours unless you are off on a special assignment.
Salary & Benefits
• Working hours are Negotiable (Part time / Full time preferred)
• Salary is negotiable – Depending on your level of commitment and ability to deliver.
• Depending on their circumstances a candidate may be offered the option to work remotely.
• Leave can be requested for a variety of reasons if the policies aren’t abused.
